STAY ALIVE IN 25! >> GROUP 3 >> CONNECT WITH TECHNOLOGY!
Frederick Janssen, Koen Rubingh and Jorge Coffie also believe technology and social media will play a large role in how our future will develop. They are worried that while people have to struggle more and more to make their ends meet, people might get more competitive in the future. But this primal idea of competition can really drive people apart, because; it’s the me-me-me-mentality that got our world in crisis in the first place. This needs to change, Frederick, Koen and Jorge believe. People need to work together, not against each other! Communication and technology will only continue to grow, but it can either distract and take the human race further apart, or the technologie can be a tool to ease the approach of people in reality. So they decided that their generation should be informed on how technology can be used to unite instead of com peat. Under their groupname the Tech Connector they explore ideas and example to regenerate our vision on connecting in public.
Did you ever had a question that you just couldn’t find the answer on, wishing someone would just come up to you and help you with it?
There should be an application on a mobile device that let’s you virtually carry a message or question. In the way you carry and transmit a Bluetooth devicename, that others can see, and if requested, answer. If people can help you with your question, they can either send you a message or revealing the both of your locations in real life or continue from there.
This way you can easily get help on a subject or talk about a something you like with response from the human collective. It can give you a broader information source. Also allowing you to get in touch with people that you might never have known you had a connection with.
On this website we found an article about: the secret to connect to people. It’s all about listening,
When people talk, listen completely. Most people never listen. ~ Ernest Hemingway
This got us thinking about a way for people to connect and get a broader audience to speak to beside their friends, to get less distant and anonymous from unknown fellow travellers in daily routine.
There is an application called “Yapik“ used by students, that comes fairly close,
do check it out HERE.
